Started by an engineer. Built for engineers.

In 2006, Mr. Gopi Venkatesan— a practicing network engineer — saw that Chennai's IT training market was full of generic courses taught by instructors who'd never run an enterprise network. He built Junisys to fix that: an institution where the instructor is the practitioner.

Today we're a Cisco Authorized Learning Partner and the only authorized CheckPoint training center in Tamil Nadu. We've trained engineers from Anna University, University of Madras, RAMCO InfoTech, Wipro, LTIMindtree and the Indian Army — more than 10,000 professionals over 18 years of operation.

We haven't franchised. We haven't moved online-only. We haven't stopped buying real hardware. The lab that students practice on today has the same philosophy it had in 2006: if it's not running on real equipment, it's not training.

2006

Junisys Founded

Mr. Gopi Venkatesan establishes Junisys Techno Services in Chennai with a clear mission: practitioner-led training on real hardware.

2008

First Cisco Authorization

Junisys becomes an authorized Cisco Learning Partner — gaining access to official courseware, certified labs, and Cisco-approved assessments.

2011

1,000 Engineers Certified

A significant milestone: over 1,000 network engineers trained and certified across CCNA and early CCNP tracks.

2014

CheckPoint Authorization

Junisys becomes Tamil Nadu's only authorized CheckPoint training partner — offering CCSA and CCSE with official lab kits and courseware.

2018

CCIE Program Launched

Expert-level preparation added to the curriculum. Full 8-hour lab exam simulation with dedicated lab resources for CCIE candidates.
